Law firm Mette Y. Larsen & Co, formerly Law Firm Stabell & Co, was founded in 1998 and currently employs 16 members of staff. Of these, 12 are lawyers and authorised assistant lawyers. The firm is owned by 7 senior associates/partners, all of whom are active participants in the firm. Our employees exceptionally well-trained and enjoy the confidence of the courts and legal colleagues alike.

Our most important case areas are criminal law and civil disputes. Our lawyers have appeared on behalf of the defence in a number of high-profile cases as well as counsel for aggrieved parties in many others. The emphasis of our civil portfolio lies in cases undertaken on behalf of public and private parties in child protection cases, parental disputes, property claims, compensation claims, immigration cases and labour disputes.

The firm’s offices are located in central Oslo (Paleet) but we take on cases from across the entire country. A number of our commissions are also linked to matters abroad.
